Richmond, BC (April 25, 2024) -- River Rock Casino Resort, nestled along the Fraser River just south of Vancouver, is excited to announce significant upgrades aimed at enhancing the guest experience to continue to deliver a thrilling gaming and entertainment experience. From exciting casino play to exquisite dining and luxurious accommodations, the resort promises an unforgettable stay for every guest. Since its debut in 2004 as Metro Vancouver region’s best-appointed entertainment resort, River Rock has continued to attract discerning guests for a comprehensive resort experience.

In celebration of its 20th Anniversary, over the coming year, River Rock Casino Resort is proud to introduce a variety of enhancements, ensuring that guests can indulge in excitement, luxury, and unparalleled hospitality at the Four-Diamond resort.

The main atrium is currently undergoing a complete reimagination with the addition of Gordon Ramsay Steak later this year, adding to the resort's excellent culinary offerings. The first of Michelin-starred chef, television personality and author Gordon Ramsay’s fine dining restaurants in Canada, Gordon Ramsay Steak will bring a unique and unparalleled culinary experience to guests, with a vibrant atmosphere, impeccable service, and stunning views of the marina from a new indoor/outdoor dining area.

KOI, the latest culinary venture from celebrated restaurateur Michael Zhang (Kanae Yakiniku, K Squared Mansion) will also open later this year. The restaurant will offer a modern and elegant fusion dining experience, complementing the resort's diverse culinary options.

River Rock will also see an expansion of the Jade room, including a variety of new and diverse slot machines so guests can enjoy even more gaming options in this vibrant area of the resort.
The resort's floor layout will be refreshed, enhancing navigation and accessibility for guests along with a new Privé Lounge on the gaming floor, complete with a dedicated bar.

There will be an expansion of the property’s conference facilities, providing more space for meetings, events, and gatherings and the on-site marina will be dredged later this year, allowing for the full reactivation of the 130-slip marina.

The resort's buffet has undergone renovations to include à la carte offerings from its prime location boasting panoramic views of the North Shore mountains and marina.

Additionally, technical upgrades to the property’s theatre will elevate the audience’s experience, helping to bring a variety of performances to life in partnership with Live Nation.

"We're incredibly excited to introduce these enhancements at River Rock Casino Resort," said Wayne Odegard, Regional Vice President, River Rock Casino Resort. "As a pioneer in gaming and hospitality in the market, and one of the very few entertainment resorts in British Columbia, we have always been proud of our resort and its robust amenities.
