Canada-U.S. Trade Resources

Canada and the U.S. share one of the world's largest and most important trade relationships, with $3.6 billion worth trade exchanged daily. Canada is the top trading partner for 34 U.S. states, and nearly 75% of Canadian exports go to the U.S. This trade is highly integrated—more than half of Canada’s exports to the U.S. are components used in American products, strengthening both economies.

President Trump has announced that he will be implementing new traffis on Canadian goods imported by the U.S. Millions of jobs on both sides of the border depend on our partnership, but new trade barriers—such as tariffs—could disrupt supply chains and impact businesses. Protecting and growing this economic connection is essential for long-term prosperity.

Created by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, it examines our economic integration and the risks of tariffs
