This afternoon, the Hon. Brenda Bailey, Minister of Finance announced B.C.’s Budget 2025, which sets Provincial priorities and spending for the year ahead.

The Richmond Chamber is deeply concerned about the newly announced tariffs taking effect immediately, which will place additional cost burdens on businesses and consumers alike.

The Richmond Chamber of Commerce recognized the leading businesses in Richmond at the 47th Annual Business Excellence Awards.

On September 14th, Richmond business community members rolled up their sleeves and got to work, clearing trash and debris from two locations.

On April 25th, Richmond Chamber of Commerce members gathered for their Annual General Meeting. Jason Tse was unanimously confirmed as the 2024/2025 Chair of the board.

As stakeholders invested in the growth and prosperity of our city and province, we look forward to continued collaboration with the government as the commitments in this budget are enacted and will continue to advocate for employers.

Nominations are open now for the Richmond Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Members who meet eligibility requirements are invited to submit their nomination packages. The deadline for applications is 4:30pm on Wednesday, January 31st, 2024.
